Usborne is an independent family business founded by Peter Usborne in 1973. It is the largest independent children's publisher in the UK.

When Peter got a call from his wife saying he was going to be a father, he immediately decided to move into children’s publishing so that he could create colorful, exciting, captivating books for a new generation of kids – including his own.
